The true value of a pharmacist!

Judith Choquette

"Ms Choquette graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Université de Montréal in 1991. Since February 2003 she is a consultant in Pharmacy Services and Training. Prior to this, she was Agent, Continuing Education and Professional Development for McKesson Pharmaceuticals and the banner “Clinique Sante”, and she has also been a pharmacy owner. Her company is aimed at developping, pursuing and achieving goals in profitable and fulfilling pharmacy services that can demonstrate the value of pharmacist intervention for the profession and society. "

 

She is on the Board of the Quebec Order of Pharmacist. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Université de Montréal where she is responsible for the courses of Introduction to the profession with 1st year students and of Pharmacy Management (community pharmacy) for the Master in Pharmacy Practice. She won the Canadian Patient Counselling Competition from the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Students and Interns (CAPSI) in 1991 and was Centennial Scholar for Université de Montréal in 1989. In 1996, the Quebec Order of Pharmacists awarded her “Le Prix Louis-Hebert” as recognition for her contribution to the visibility and enhanced value of the pharmacist amongst general population and excellence of her practice.
