Marc Parent : The Law 90 and the Right to Initiate Therapies

"In 1983, Mr. Parent obtained his B.Pharm from the University of Montreal. Eight years later, he acquired his M.Sc. in hospital practice from Laval University as well as a Certificate as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties in the United States. As an administrator at the Office of the Order of the Pharmacists of Quebec since 1999, he took part in many committees: Pharmacist Shortage Committee and the Pharm.D Program at the Montreal and Laval Universities. He also presided the committee on the Reform of the Law of Pharmacy within the Bernier Committee. Mr. Parent currently works in a hospital and is deeply involved with the training of pharmacy students as well as other pharmacists and doctors."
